Medifast is a weight-loss product originally developed by a physician,and has been recommended by more than 15,000 doctors since 1980.  It is based on eating primarily pre-packaged foods which are formulated with low-fat protein and fiber, and fortified with vitamins and nutrients, so you lose pounds and inches without losing out on essential nutrition.

All Medifast foods are developed and manufactured in a wholly-owned manufacturing facility in the U.S.  One of the apparent benefits of this program is that it has been around so long, there are thousands of people using it and interacting in support groups and online forums.

Verdict:

From extensive online research and customer feedback we feel this product delivers what it advertises. Considering how long it has been around, something is clearly working well.  In addition, it is physician supervised, which is probably a good idea when undertaking a very low calorie diet.  In the end though, results and longevity speak volumes...
